Further Development Opportunities

In addition to the Analyst Program, NIBC offers a wide range of trainings. Our internal training website gives you the opportunity to browse through all our suppliers. From short  e-learning courses on specific topics to three-day courses on leadership skills.

Advanced Development Program

After completing the Analyst Program, the analysts are automatically enrolled in the Advanced Development Program. This is a curriculum specifically geared towards the different strategic business units and offers a combination of general financial trainings, business unit-specific trainings and personal development. The program combines flexibility with the structure of a program. You will rejoin your analyst group in class but also get the chance to attend trainings with more experienced colleagues. The program stretches over three to five years and you and your manager will agree on which courses to attend.

Mentorship

Directly after the start of the Analyst Program in January you will be appointed a mentor. This highly experienced professional will be working in a different part of the organisation. This way you can discuss a variety of topics with someone who might have a different perspective on the business.

Appraisal process

We want our ambitious analysts to develop in their roles every year. Each year you will have two organised contact moments with your manager, but of course you will also work with him or her on a daily basis. The two contact sessions are official meetings during which your progress will be recorded in our individual performance management system. This system contains your annual targets (with respect to deals, projects and personal development) and feedback from yourself and your colleagues on how you performed according to our business principles

Corporate Social Responsibility

Every analyst class will initiate a CSR project during the program. Additionally, the bank is also engaged in various different CSR projects. For more information, see Corporate Responsibility.
