Intern Sector Team Industrials
Business Unit
Within Corporate Banking, Industrials & Manufacturing is one of the key focus sectors. On the back of extensive sector knowledge we have built a long-standing track record in an ever changing industry. Out of our offices in The Hague, Brussels and Frankfurt we provide debt financing, strategic advice and equity solutions to medium to large cap enterprises in the Benelux and Germany.
Our core is on ‘strategic events’ for our clients. Amongst others this means that you will be involved in financing of mergers and acquisitions, major capital expenditures, shareholder restructurings, and other complex structured finance solutions. These situations typically have elevated complexity that requires tailor-made solutions.
Diversity of the job, the opportunity to work in a small dynamic team, the scope of responsibilities, and the client contacts create an environment that will allow the successful candidate a steep learning curve and the opportunity to develop into an all-round corporate banker.
Job Profile
As from day one you are an important part of the Industrials team, as we only work in small client focused teams. You are assisting in securing mandates, execution of transactions, and the day-to-day management of the existing loan portfolio. Hence you will see a large number of transactions across different sectors.
Responsibilities include conducting transaction proposals (industry, company, management, key risks, cash flow and financial analysis), negotiation of transaction terms and loan documentation and assisting on pitching for new transactions. You work closely with Industrials senior team members and with professionals from different teams of the bank (Markets, Distribution, Risk, Legal, Tax, etc.)
By being actively involved in the day-to-day operations, you quickly gain insight in a broad range of transactions and financing structures while at the same time you will get attuned with the Industrials & Manufacturing client base.
