You are obliged to send in your resume, academic record as well as your secondary school marks. In your accompanying letter you have to state your motivation for your application and illustrate your resume, if applicable.
How does the application procedure work?
Step 1: online application and resume
We prefer online applications. If we invite you for interviews, we will also send you an online personality questionnaire.
Step 2: first round of interviews
The first round of interviews consists of two one hour interviews and an analytical test. In the first interview we will test both your social as well as your troubleshooting skills. In the second interview a recruiting officer will further discuss your social skills, such as team spirit, decisiveness and persuasiveness.
Your experience
We would like to know if you have the skills that will ensure a successful career at NIBC. We therefore will discuss your most important experiences to date. The focus will be on the specific role you played to accomplish a successful result, e.g. leadership and teamwork skills.
Step 3: second round of interviews
Several interviewers of one of the Strategic Business Unit's of NIBC will interview you, applying the same set-up as that was applied during the interviews in the first round. We will pay attention to your motivation and your capability to work in teams. We will also ask you to discuss a business case.
Business case
Judging one’s troubleshooting skills is best done by discussing a business case. We will judge you on your approach, rather than on your specific answers.
If you complete the second round of interviews successfully, we will make you an offer for an Analyst position.
