Structuring is responsible for structuring of: transactions for both clients and the bank itself in the fields of (i) securitisations and structured funding, (ii) funds and tax efficient transactions and (iii) other structured finance solutions. An analyst in the structuring team is usually part of a 2-3 person transaction team and is (jointly) responsible for multiple activities, such as: communication with clients and other external/ internal parties, negotiations with rating agencies, modeling, preparing investor presentations and all other kind of transaction related activities.

Retail Markets is responsible for the active management of EUR 12 billion of residential mortgages originated via institutional partners, packagers, and mortgage chains. The team’s responsibility is to optimise the portfolio performance with respect to return and risks within internal constraints like liquidity, economic capital, market risk and credit exposure. The tasks comprise of risk management and valuation of the mortgage portfolio, pricing of new mortgage products and further development of pricing models (incl. embedded options). Furthermore this team is involved in discussions and internal projects with the aim to improve risk management, profitability and management information on the portfolio.

As an Analyst you are involved in the day-to-day loan management and will see a large number of differently structured debt transactions.
Your contribution comprises amongst other activities: reviewing existing loans, preparing cash flow models, analyzing waiver requests. An Analyst works closely with his team members, and also with other professionals from different parts of the bank (origination- and execution teams, credit risk management, legal- and fiscal affairs, rating desk, securitisation teams, etc).
