NIBC Merchant Banking enables mid-cap companies, financial institutions and high net worth entrepreneurs/owners to grow their business. We give them access to our investment banking products, such as M&A advisory, specialised lending and equity/mezzanine. Coverage
Our dedicated coverage bankers maintain long-term relationships and provide strategic advice to our mid-cap clients in the Benelux and Germany through in-depth dialogues and ongoing transactions. Together with product specialists, operating in multidisciplinary teams, client teams deliver a wide range of customised products and solutions.

 

M&A Advisory
M&A provides advisory services in close cooperation with our coverage bankers. It executes M&A-related transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals and buyouts. M&A combines first class execution expertise with in-depth understanding of the sector and client challenges. It includes: Evaluating and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, identifying potential transaction opportunities, advising on and assisting with negotiations and valuation issues and providing fairness opinions.

 

Investment Management
Investment Management acts as principal investor for the bank and has extended its investment activities to third-party investors. Funds have been developed in the field of private equity and mezzanine (in companies), infrastructure and real estate. Investment Management also manages and services the banks' direct investments and investments in third party funds.
